On October 7, 2015, at the ME and WE- Women for Expo space of the Palazzo Italia  the last event representing rehabilitation activities in penal institutions took place, thanks to the contribution of penitentiary police.

During the event, some inmates from penal institutions in the Milan area: Milano San Vittore and Milano Bollate, put on a fashion show with garments created in tailoring workshops in the two institutions produced in collaboration with the Alice cooperative. Along with the runway show, there were presentations and a film showing the activities of a few of the Sigilio brand’s clothing operations that are part of  the Alice cooperative.

The female world in prison: awareness and rehabilitation
These events, which invited authorities and workers in the field, aim to create sensitivity in public opinion on a subject that is as important as it is delicate: the female world in prison. The fashion show represented the creations of workers, including penitentiary police, who took part in the cultural and work-related activities that the inmates participated in during a course of awareness and rehabilitation.
